Welcome Home to Customers Old and New!

Here at the Waggon and Horses, we are so looking forward to welcoming back our customers, both old and new, It has been a very long Spring/ Summer and we have made some lovely changes to the premises, both to keep our Customers and Staff safe.

We are sure it is going to be very different and may feel a little strange for you, and for us, but please be assured,  we are determined to welcome everyone back as safely as possible .

With that in mind please consider the following before booking your visit.

  1. We request that guests book in advance, walk ups that we cannot immediately accommodate, will be asked not to queue but a telephone number will be taken and we will try to call you if, and when we can accommodate your party.

    2. Bookings are for an initial two-and-a-half-hour period, if there are no bookings following yours, this may be extended but your table must be vacated 15 mins before the next booking to allow for cleaning.

    3. On arrival we will request personal data, this is a condition of entry. Personal data will be held securely for 21 days before being destroyed. Data may be made available to authorised authorities on request.

    4. Due to the fact that everything is outside, we are able to operate a bar service for drinkers. You will be asked to sit/stand socially distanced in a separate area of the garden from the diners. We recommend that even if you are only popping along for a few pints that you call ahead to confirm we have adequate space and enough staff on to serve and keep you safe.

5.Food orders will be taken at your table by our professional staff wearing appropriate          PPE, card payment at the table is preferred but cash will also be accepted.

        6. The size of our toilets only allow for 1 person at any one time, or 2 from the same            household, please respect this and queue following the marked system.
Queue monitoring will be in place, our staff will be cleaning the toilets more regularly            than usual and we will leave some sanitising solution or wipes out for our customers            to use if they feel the need to.

        7. We will be operating a combination of one-way systems and give way points, these          will be clearly marked and we request guests follow the signs, staff will be on hand to          assist.

8.We have outdoor seating only at present, with shelter.

        9. Please follow all requests by our team, obey all signage and maintain social                      distancing requirements at all time.

Those unable or unwilling to may be asked to leave.

       10. Children are to be supervised at all times, including when using the facilities, due           to the chemicals available for sanitising purposes.

       11. All bookings are provisional and may be cancelled at any time by us in response to         changes in government guidance.

       12. Opening hours will be available on our website and Facebook page.  These may be          updated at any time, so please check regularly.

       13. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden but must be kept on a lead and under control         at all times.

14.There will be no smoking in any part of the beer garden, there will be a designated          smoking area in part of the overflow area.
